No matter what happens tomorrow I will not be upset about it. I pray every night for God to take care of us. For Him to take care of this nation not man.

Tomorrow will not be a pretty day for America. No matter who wins both sides will be upset and the news is warning about being careful as the day goes on. I am praying that neither side reacts badly and does something we will all regret later.

Justin and Connie,

Agree on the Baldwin vote. That is one of the things I have been trying to get across. If we do vote then as Christians it has to be in line with Godly principles. We cannot vote for a man who wants to allow the slaughter of innocents to get even more available and we cannot vote for someone who will give us more of the same and say we voted for either because we are doing our Christian duty.
If we want to put aside our calling, our mission, and vote based on only worldly things, then by all means do that. Just stop calling it Christian.

Connie, thanks for your views and thoughts. You do seem to understand what I am trying to say.

Love you both

I will celebrate when tomorrow is over. I have seen so many people obsess with this candidate or that candidate rather than putting their faith in God as you have mentioned so many times.

I can't begin to tell you how many emails I have received of people trying to discredit Obama....hundreds. I am so sick of them; I just delete them. Not so many for McCain because I don't believe many people are really FOR him, just against his opponent.

I don't want to even imagine how devestated all those people will be tomorrow if their candidate does not win. Especially if they don't have a true relationship with God.

I remember something our music minister said several years ago when gasoline prices began to rise. He said, "I'm not worried. If syrup goes up to a dollar a sop, God is still gonna take care of me." What a statement.
Wish everyone could have that kind of faith.

Peace,
Connie

I plan to vote for Chuck Baldwin. He comes the closest to standing for Christian principles. I don't think he has a chance of winning but if a third party ever gets strong enough maybe we will have a choice better than what we have today. (If I thought Obama had any chance of winning in Alabama I would have to think very hard about my vote.) We have to do the best we know how and leave the results up to God. I've seen God turn things around for the good when it looked like there was no hope.

The government is an extension of us. When we leave the governing of the nation up to ungodly people, that is how we let the government do our work for us.
