I have come to the conclusion that "Christian" is a word without meaning, emphasized by the fact you felt it necessary to put the word "real" in front of it.

I have adopted "Christ follower" as a better descriptor of who I am and who I want to be.

Anthony: What do you believe a real Christian looks like?
A real Christian to me is more than a look. It’s very rare to find one these days, and this includes myself. We know a man can not make it to heaven by works alone, but we also know that a man cannot make by only faith. The real Christian is a person, that is all he does, it is for the glory of God. There is not an expected personal gain. The real Christian does all he does because he is a vessel of God. Not to be praised himself but to live for the day that his maker will choose to take him home. You see this man walking to the store, and every person that sees him can tell he has something that even those that claim to be the same don’t have. Through all adversity, he uses his testimony to help someone through his example. Not a word has to be said about his savior, and people still ask why he is so joyful. Though he was a shy man, God gave him boldness because he chooses to be God’s witness. This man, when you see him pray, he’s always praying for the someone other than himself. He trusts God to take care of his needs, and only asks for something when a resolution does not seem to exist. The patience he bears doesn’t bind itself to a time frame. He trusts God with his promises, and waits for a moment to help all he can. This man is a true Godly man. This man is a warrior of Christ. This man is what we as Christians should try to be today. What are the beliefs that you think must be necessary for someone to really be a Christian? My bible says that only through Jesus can we get to heaven.
I brother of all men is a trait that Jesus spoke of how we should be.
A man who has buried God’s word in his heart.
A man who chooses to continually grow in Christ.
A man who no appearance of sin upon him. If he does sin, he truly repents of what he has done.
None of this forgive me lord, just to keep doing it on a daily basis.Do you think there is any room for your thoughts to be wrong?
In all we believe as people, there is always error in what we think. We put too many personal touches on what we choose to believe. We put too much faith in ourselves instead of God. Until we get to the point where God is all we want, then we will always have error in our thoughts. In all beliefs, from the definition of a Christian, to Genesis, then to Revelation. Until we move ourselves out of the way, we will never know what we should be, nor what God wants us to be. Part of that is realizing that regardless of what we believe to be fact, there is always other possibilities, and that we can be wrong.

Wow!

First of all, thank you Sonny for not letting everyone just answer cookie cutter questions. These questions are very well thought out and believe it or not the discussions have been very productive.

1. What do you believe a real Christian looks like?

*Anyone and everyone can be a Christian regardless of how they look. We should not judge anyone on how they look or dress. However if the question is more about the abstract, that is a little more difficult.

*A Christian will be someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as savior, and follows the teachings of Jesus. It should be a person who is caring and loving to all people. While works do not save you, doing good for others doesn't hurt as well. A Christian believes that all people can be saved. All people deserve a chance at salvation. A real Christian ultimately has received and accepted the greatest gift of all: Grace

2. What are the beliefs that you think must be necessary for someone to really be a Christian?

*Some of this was answered in the first question. However, no matter how many ways to look at it, the true Christian is a follower of Jesus not just a believer. People believe in Satan, but that doesn't mean they follow him. By following Jesus, you can't stray, and you will do what is right. There could and probably have been books written about the way to follow, but to follow is the key.

3. Do you think there is any room for your thoughts to be wrong?

*Being wrong is part of being human. There are no perfect people, short of Jesus, and he was definitely the exception.
Being wrong, doesn't mean you are doomed. What it means is you still have to grow and learn. Can we get better sure, but so long as we learn from our mistakes we will be fine. We have to accept that if we are wrong it is just another opportunity for us to go back to study more and get even closer to God.

That is all I have for now. I have to get back to work.
